Artists are encouraged to work in series. Why is that? Art is a matter of practice and repetition to get better. Not all of us reach our best work at the first try. I have found that working in a series based on a subject, style, or materials helps with the growth of my art. It helps me to take risks, be experimental, find new solutions, add variety and develop a unique interpretation.
